Our Story
AzoricAudio was born on Faial Island in the Azores — an archipelago of extraordinary natural beauty set in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Surrounded by the sounds of nature, we set out to craft loudspeakers that capture the essence of music with the same raw authenticity we find in our island home.
The Craft
Each speaker begins as a carefully selected plank of Japanese Yellow Cedar (Cryptomeria), sourced from the island's sustainable forests. We evaluate every board for its acoustic properties — porosity, density, and moisture — before it ever becomes part of a cabinet. The result is a speaker with a distinctive voice: warm, detailed, and alive.
Our Philosophy
We believe great audio equipment should reveal the soul of music. Not colour it. Not flatten it. Not impress with measurement charts at the expense of emotion. Our speakers are designed to disappear, leaving only the music.
